Diversity in Coffea arabica Cultivars in the Mountains of Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique, Regarding Bean and Leaf Nutrient Accumulation and Physical Fruit Traits

Genetic characteristics and their interaction with environmental conditions, including nutritional management, determine coffee productivity quality. The objective of this study was to evaluate fruit traits nutrient accumulation in the fruit, husk, bean, as well leaves different Coffea arabica cultivars cropped Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique. experiment evaluated nine a randomized block design, four replicates. Fruit leaf samples were collected over two months (June July 2021), maturation phase, oven-dried analyzed, namely, through clustering unweighted pair group method arithmetic mean (UPGMA). characterization ripe dried bean indicated differences performance cultivars. macronutrients N, K, Ca micronutrients Fe, Mn, B highest Nutrient concentrations organs have direct influence on crop management. This is crucial for diagnosis that ensures high yields, but such mineral levels are also result existing genetic diversity among cultivars, which must be taken into account management breeding purposes.
